Local storage allows TryGrovia to remember simple preferences directly in your browser, such as your theme setting (dark or light mode) and your current plan label used to display usage information. This data stays in your browser and is not used for tracking.

What We Do NOT Use

For clarity, TryGrovia does not use any of the following:

Advertising or marketing cookies
Third-party analytics or usage-tracking cookies (such as Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, Mixpanel, or similar)
Web beacons or tracking pixels
Device fingerprinting
Cross-site or cross-app tracking of your activity

Cookies and Storage We Actually Use

The table below lists every cookie and local storage item TryGrovia sets, along with its purpose. This is the complete list.

Essential (required for the platform to work)

These cannot be disabled without breaking core functionality such as signing in.

token — A secure, HttpOnly authentication cookie that keeps you signed in. It cannot be read by JavaScript and is used only to verify your session.
activeWorkspaceId — A cookie that remembers which Workspace you are currently working in, so the correct data is shown.

Functional (preferences, stored in browser local storage)

These improve usability but are not strictly required.

grovia-theme — Remembers your theme preference (dark or light mode).
grwth_plan — Stores your current plan label (e.g., trial, solo, growth) so usage and limits can be displayed without reloading.

Why We Use Them

We use the cookies and local storage listed above only for the following purposes:

To keep you signed in securely across pages and between visits.
To protect your account from unauthorized access.
To remember which Workspace you are working in.
To remember your theme preference and display your plan and usage correctly.

Third-Party Services

TryGrovia does not set third-party tracking cookies. However, a small number of trusted service providers may set their own cookies on their own pages or widgets when you use specific features:

When Third-Party Cookies May Appear

These cookies are controlled by the respective provider and are governed by that provider's own privacy and cookie policies, not by TryGrovia:

Google (Sign-in): When you sign in using Google, Google may set cookies as part of its authentication flow on Google's own pages.
Razorpay (Payments): If and when paid plans are enabled, Razorpay's secure checkout may set cookies on the billing/checkout screen to process your payment safely.

Note on Payments

Paid billing via Razorpay may not be active for all users at this time. Razorpay-related cookies only appear when you actively use a payment or checkout screen.

Managing Cookies

You can control and delete cookies and local storage through your browser settings.

Most browsers (Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Safari, Microsoft Edge, and others) allow you to:

Clear all site data for TryGrovia.

Do Not Track

Since TryGrovia does not track your activity across sites, there is no cross-site tracking for a 'Do Not Track' (DNT) signal to disable. We simply do not perform such tracking.

TryGrovia may update this Cookie Policy if we introduce new cookies or storage in the future. If we ever add analytics or marketing technologies that require consent, we will update this Policy and implement an appropriate consent mechanism before doing so.
